Grupo de Oxossi, Abreu e Lima

Smoking cigarettes is an important aspect of the ritual of this group in Abreu e Lima, about an hour’s bus ride north of Recife, on the way to the historic site of Sitio Igarassu, one of the oldest cities in Brazil. You will be hearing more about this group as I develop my book.
